This fabulous Hematite Rune Stone set is of the Elder Futhark.

The Elder Futhark is the oldest form of the runic alphabet and was commonly used in Northern Europe, until the knowledge of how to read it was forgotten.  It was not until 1865 that the alphabet was deciphered, enabling people to read the Elder Futhark Runes once again.

Each set contains 25 Runes, 24 with characters on them and a single blank Rune.  Each set also comes in its own drawstring bag.
