I haven’t written a new blog post for quite some time, so here we go…

 

Over the last few months, I have been taking Moonrust to the next stage by opening my very own, real live shop! Moonrust the shop might be small, but it’s definitely perfectly formed, even if I do say so myself.

 

 

Having operated entirely online for the past four years, I decided the time was right to expand the business into the ‘real world’ so to speak, and after a few months of hard work and dedication, I am proud to announce that Moonrust is now based in Stevenage Indoor Market. With the economy as it is, a won’t say it hasn’t been an uphill struggle at times, but with our existing online customers and a fast growing local knowledge of Moonrust, things are starting to look good for the future.

 

One of the main benefits of being in a shop is seeing all the lovely products on display. It really makes everything look so much better than when you are so used to seeing it in storage boxes and on shelves. It’s also amazing how nice everything smells, an added bonus that attracts many new customers for the first time.

 

 

The market itself is a hive of activity and the traders have been friendly from day one. Over the next couple of months the market will also be getting a facelift in the form of re-branding, re-painting and a few strategically placed plants to bring an air of tranquility to the aisles. Personally, I can’t wait for the changes to take place because we need to let people know the market is still here and evolving all the time, with new traders opening and many different services available, but with that added personal touch that only a market trader can offer.
